Andrew is now mobile!

Andrew starting army crawling this past Monday. He has been trying for awhile and now has finally figured out how to move. He is so pleased with himself...you can see it in his face. He always has been content, but now he seems even more happy and curious about his surroundings. I see him looking up and reaching as if he is trying to figure out how to pull himself up to knees or feet. One thing we've always known about Andrew is he is SO strong! Today I noticed him getting from a sit to crawling and then back to a sitting position again. He is learning how to transition between positions and he is even getting up on his hands and knees and rocking. I remember that is what Daniel did right before he started crawling on hands and knees! Now we have to continue working on Colin and getting him moving like his brothers!!

Sweet Andrew! Sensitive Andrew! He is such a tenderheart. He still sits and plays so nicely and hardly ever fusses or cries. He is a great eater. He holds his own bottle, too, which makes it easier for me! He still is not moving, but if I put him on hands and knees he will stay there and rock. He likes to also play while on his knees. He just doesn't act like he wants to move! He's perfectly content sitting there and looking around. He shows seperation and stranger anxiety more than his 2 brothers. He loves to cuddle. He has the most beautiful skin...it is so smooth! And his eyes are so bright blue. He has his 2 bottom teeth now. The bottom right one came in first and the bottom left one was quick to follow. He likes to take a long morning nap and then he won't take more than a 45 or 60 minute nap in the afternoon lately which is kind of a bummer! He is a doll!

Little Andrew is still my funny buddy. He loves to cuddle, too! He is patient and loves to sit and play with his toys. He enjoys looking at his brothers and he gives a big broad, gummy smile! He also has a funny, low pitched laugh. A little dorky, but definitely a cute chuckle. He still makes me laugh all the time. He is very tuned into what is going on around him and he watches with an open-mouthed frown on his little face. A look of angst and worry that you can't help but laugh at! He eats and sleeps great. He has beautiful skin and still has the most hair out of the triplets. He still isn't moving, but plays nicely on his belly and sometimes rotates around in a circle on his belly, or his back for that matter. He is happiest sitting and lets me put him on his knees to play. He is a doll!

Well, Colin came home on Wednesday and all has been going fine...just busy, busy, busy! It is so fun to have them all together. Colin went to the pediatrician today and weighs 5 lbs 14 oz. Wednesday evening the home health nurse weighed Andrew at 6 pounds 2 oz and Daniel at 6 pounds even. They're feeding great and slowly increasing their amounts without any problems. They're still eating every 3 hours for now so sleep is hard to get around here! Hoyt's sister, Pat, is in town for the weekend to help out which is great! Daniel was brought home yesterday afternoon and our first night went well. He is such a good baby! He weighed 5 pounds when discharged. Andrew has been losing a little weight so he may stay in the hospital until Wednesday or Thursday. Andrew is taking all of his bottles great and his nasal tube is out so I'll include some pictures of him in this post of him tube free! Tonight he weighs 5 lbs 5.8 oz which is an increase from last night so that is good! Colin's weight is also up to 5 lbs 1 oz as of tonight. He takes his bottles about half of the time. All of the boys are getting about 1 tsp of Neosure formula added to each ounce of breastmilk. Tomorrow I will take Daniel to his first visit with his pediatrician. I hope I get some sleep tonight!
