Tonight Andrew weighs 5 lbs 4 oz. He is eating 46 cc every 3 hours. Colin weighs 4 lbs 9 oz and Daniel weighs 4 lbs 15 oz. Colin and Daniel are each up to 42 cc every 3 hours. They are taking more and more feedings by bottle and doing great with it! If we had to predict today who is coming home first and when we would say Daniel is on track to come home next week. He is bottle feeding great, shows no obvious signs of reflux and is maintaining his temperature great. He also is not having a lot of heart rate drops and if he has one they are self resolved quickly. The nurse tried to wean Colin off his minute amount of oxygen today and Colin didn't tolerate it well enough, so he is still on 1/16 of a liter of oxygen-which is practically nothing! He is still in an open crib like his brothers. Everyone at the hospital is very happy with the boys' progress! I can't wait to see them again tomorrow!

The boys were born 1 month ago today! Andrew now weighs 5 lbs. Colin is 4 lbs 3 oz. Daniel is 4 lbs 9 oz. They take about half of their feedings by bottle. When they take 100% of their feedings by bottle for at least 48 hours then they'll come home. So far they don't have any obvious signs of reflux which can really delay them leaving the hospital. Also, Andrew and Daniel were moved to open cribs 3 days ago and are maintaining their temperatures great. Colin is moving to an open crib this evening. Colin still has a little oxygen, but hopefully this week he will not need it. Tomorrow morning they get their eye examinations.

The triplets are doing great and continuing to grow! Andrew weighs 4 lbs, 8 oz. Colin weighs 3 lbs, 10 oz. Daniel weighs 3 lbs, 15 oz. They all still get their feedings through their nasal feeding tubes. Andrew gets 40 cc every 3 hours, Daniel gets 35 cc every 3 hours and Colin gets 20 cc every 2 hours. Also, we started them on bottle feeds 1 time a day to get them used to sucking, swallowing and breathing at the same time. So far they are taking to it great!
