Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving Day we arrived home from Lamar around 2:00 or 3:00. From there we unloaded, took baths and changed clothes. We arrived to mom and dad's house around 5:00 for dinner and these pictures were taken at their house. I'm pretty sure all 4 boys (including ourselves) slept good that night!

Road Trip Fun!

We took a trip to Lamar, Missouri with the kids to see Hoyt's sister Pat. We left on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and came back on Thanksgiving Day. The boys did great and all seemed to have a good time.

These pictures were taken on the way back to St. Louis. Andrew of course was the first to wake up from a little snooze. Shortly after awaking he decided to mess with Daniel. As much as I asked him to stop he did not listen! I couldn't go back there and make him stop, so there I was...watching him antagonize his brother enough to wake him from his sleep! Obviously it worked after he raised his limp arm and dropped it about 5 times!

He continues to pick up and drop Daniel's little arm!

Bugging him a little more....

Finally Andrew's work is starting to pay off! You can see Daniel's eyes start to separate a little in this picture!

Andrew's mission is complete! Daniel is now awake and laughing which now means Colin is awake.

So now Daniel gives him a taste of his own medicine. He now starts to lift Andrew's sleeve up
in the air and drop it just like Andrew did to him!

Truce!

The finished product!

So! Andrew finally got his much needed trim! Jack came for moral support. I took Andrew to the same place Jack got his first hair cut...The Hairy Elephant! He did great! I think it helped him tremendously that his big brother was sitting right beside him. I think Jack was more excited about this than Andrew or I! The haircut turned out fine. I got this done right before Thanksgiving and of course before our family Thanksgiving get-together I decided there was not enough cut off in the back. So I CAREFULLY trimmed more of his precious curls. Then I realized I cut too much, so I cried! Oh well! At this point the back is a bit of an uneven mess, but the curls are still kind of there thank goodness!

Andrew finally gets his hair cut!

These pictures were taken right after Colin started REALLY walking. He was so proud of himself walking across the room back and forth. It's amazing to see how much smoother he has become with his walking now since these pictures were taken just over 6 weeks ago! We had their NICU followup appointment last Thursday. Once again Colin amazes me! The developmental therapist did a series of tests with each triplet and Colin scored the highest! He did the most imitating and followed instructions the best. He understood and pointed to pictures to answer the therapist's questions. He put puzzles together. We're so proud of all 3 of these little guys!

Halloween 2010

Lion, Tiger and Bear...Oh my!!

So Daniel was the Tiger because that costume was the smallest. Colin was the Bear because he was the guy who used to growl and we called him our little bear. Andrew was the Lion because it seemed to fit and there were no choices left! Jack did not like the idea I had of him being Zookeeper Jack. He thought Batman was a fine idea so I had to agree! It was chilly that night, but they stayed warm in their costumes. We did a little trick or treating in Bayberry subdivision with Uncle John and kids. From there we drove by so Mums and Poppa could see everyone. It was a busy day and we all slept well that night!
