These pictures were taken right after Colin started REALLY walking. He was so proud of himself walking across the room back and forth. It's amazing to see how much smoother he has become with his walking now since these pictures were taken just over 6 weeks ago! We had their NICU followup appointment last Thursday. Once again Colin amazes me! The developmental therapist did a series of tests with each triplet and Colin scored the highest! He did the most imitating and followed instructions the best. He understood and pointed to pictures to answer the therapist's questions. He put puzzles together. We're so proud of all 3 of these little guys!

Halloween 2010

Lion, Tiger and Bear...Oh my!!

So Daniel was the Tiger because that costume was the smallest. Colin was the Bear because he was the guy who used to growl and we called him our little bear. Andrew was the Lion because it seemed to fit and there were no choices left! Jack did not like the idea I had of him being Zookeeper Jack. He thought Batman was a fine idea so I had to agree! It was chilly that night, but they stayed warm in their costumes. We did a little trick or treating in Bayberry subdivision with Uncle John and kids. From there we drove by so Mums and Poppa could see everyone. It was a busy day and we all slept well that night!

Trick or Treating done! Heading home now...

On the way home after Mums and Poppa's house each boy had a couple of cookies to top off the night! The pictures show how much they enjoyed them!

Lounging around!

These are just a few cute pictures of the boys around the house hanging out. The boys on the couch in their Halloween shirts was 10/28/10 and the pics with Jack on the chair with Daniel and Andrew was 10/30/10. Colin tried to squeeze up there, too, but quickly realized there was no room for him!

Fall fun at Thies Farm

We took the kids to Thies Pumpkin Patch this fall and it was so much fun! There were slides, mazes, haystack forts, a hayride and lots of things to climb on. It was a beautiful day and all 6 of us had a nice time.

Zerberts!

We call these belly kisses "zerberts" as coined by Bill Cosby on The Cosby Show. That's where I heard the word zerbert! I even googled zerbert and found a definition: It is described as the act of pressing one's lips on a soft area of another person's flesh, such as their facial cheek, and blowing, producing a noise similar to that created by flatulence. Unlike blowing a raspberry (which is meant as an insult and a sign of disrepect), a Zerbertt is considered a sign of respect and affection
Very interesting indeed! All I know is I give the occasional zerbert on the cheek or belly and now they are zerberting each other. Funny boys!
