I took the kids up to the mall to return something and we had lunch while we were there at Chick-Fil-A. The triplets love their chicken! Anyway, I grabbed my camera and recorded this clip when I saw Andrew trying to put Colin's binky back in his mouth. Andrew took it right out of his mouth and Colin never cried. He just looked at Andrew like, "hey, are you going to give it back or what?!" Right away Andrew put it back in Colin's mouth and then proceeded to remove it and replace it over and over. Colin thought it was funny, too! Daniel and Jack were just sitting there looking bored and unimpressed with this game!

A trip to the mall

This summer has been brutally hot and we are feeling cooped in just as much as we did over the winter! So on this day we ventured to West County Mall for lunch at Chick Fil-A and a little stroller ride. All 4 boys were doing great so I decided to push my luck and let them play in the germ-infested play area. They loved it! It was a good outing and I'm glad I remembered my camera for a change!

These pictures were from our first adventure to the pool. These were the best I could do on a very sunny day and trying not to get the camera wet. Our friend and developmental therapist, April, came with us to help me while Jack was in camp. You will not see Colin in these pictures, but he was there! Believe me...HE WAS THERE! You may have been able to hear him from a mile away on this morning. He was not a happy camper and thus not in the "photo taking mood"! We did, however, venture out again last weekend with our family of 6 and everything went very well. Colin wasn't as scared and enjoyed the water. He felt safe with his daddy! We let them ride the lazy river with us and I think they liked it! Maybe we'll do some indoor swimming classes with our kids this fall to keep them used to the water.

A lovely night at Des Peres park for one of their Friday night concerts. Fun for all 6 of us! We didn't leave as early as I predicted we would. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole evening!

The red jungle gym

Good times in the family room on our decrepit red couch, aka the jungle gym! Jack has been wanting to "play" with the babies so much lately. They all truly enjoy each other. We have an assortment of rough play, peek a boo play and quiet play around here. We have been having so much fun this summer playing board games and card games with Jack. Teaching him rules and concepts at the age of 4 has been a brand new experience to us. Sometimes I cannot wait until the triplets understand the right way to play with each other and learn games and so many other things from Jack. Family game night should be a lot of fun in the Reed house!

Colin and Daniel were quite into cuddling on this day. Many times they enjoy leaning into each other while gently saying, "Ahhhhh!" It's so sweet although I do often fear that they will accidently head butt each other and get hurt! These lovey moments are rare while they play with each other so I'm glad I caught some of it on my camera. Of course I didn't initially have my camera with me so I missed the cutest portion of their interaction. At least I got a little sample!
