Playing in Colin's crib

It has been WAY too long since I have posted! These boys have kept me so busy. We are experiencing such a hot weather which has limited our outdoor activities. We have concentrated on setting up play dates in and out of our home and playing in the kiddie pool outside. I have taken some pictures and videos the past couple of months that I will post to get caught up to date.

Colin is still crawling, more on his knees now than his old army crawl style. He pulls himself to a stand and cruises along the furniture. Slowly we are working him towards standing independently. He has made so many strides these past couple of months. He was fitted for his little foot orthotics which have helped keep his feet in proper position. He still cries a lot so I guess when he starts to communicate better he won't be so frustrated. At times it's frustrating for all of us. It has gotten loud around the Reed household again. More tears, more yelling and screaming, but also a lot of belly laughing! They love playing with each other and Jack wants to play with them all the time.

Andrew is still as ornery as ever. He is so funny. Pretty much fearless and independent. He stays busy picking up every toy he can get his hands on and then throwing the toy, climbing on top of all of the furniture and following Jack around. He thinks everything belongs in the kitchen and bathroom sinks or the toilets if the lid is open. He is getting familiar with the word "no" and frequently runs away from me he sees me coming for him. He is too busy to cuddle with me anymore, but hopefully one day soon he will again!

Daniel is blossoming so much. He is socializing so much more. He waves, claps and raises his arms when I ask him to. He seems to try to imitate my speech. I think he can hear much better the past couple of weeks. I will take him tomorrow to get his ears looked at one more time. He just finished his 3rd round of antibiotics for a persistent double ear infection. If he is still infected we will be referred to a ENT doctor. He loves hugs and kisses. He really loves to be tickled. He still gets his feelings hurt on a daily basis with Andrew stealing toys from him. It's funny to watch them always travel about the house in a pack. All 3 of them always stay together as they roam. Buddies forever!

Smiley boys!

Our new "Strong Man"

When Jack was around 12 months old he would flex his muscles with a little tremor and we called it his "strong man" pose. Every time we would say, "show us strong man" or "show us how strong you are, Jack" he would stop what he was doing and flex to the point where his arms would gyrate. It was hilarious and he'll still do it to this day. Of course we have tons of video and pictures of him doing this through the years. Now it seems that Andrew is our new strong man of the family! I captured a small glimpse of the older strong man and the baby strong man in this clip.
